You may ask yourself …

What is this place?

This is Brian Troyer’s blog about complex litigation. I litigate, write, and speak about issues in complex business disputes, with much of my focus on class actions, consumer economic loss claims, securities and shareholder, and antitrust and competition litigation. But I have much experience in a range of complex business disputes involving fraud, breach of contract, and theft of trade secrets, as well as pharma and MDL litigation.

Who are you?

I am a partner at a large law firm, resident in Cleveland, Ohio. I graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1992 and the College of Wooster in 1989 and have represented clients in complex litigation throughout the United States since then, both at my current firm and at a prior global firm, usually with monetary stakes of eight figures and up. The content here reflects my own opinions.
